Open today’s class, tap one letter per child, and you’re done. Each tap saves instantly, so nothing is lost if you close the page.
- Tap Present, Absent, Late or Excused for each child, or use “all present” and fix the exceptions.
- See each child’s last 3 months in colour, so a pattern of missed classes stands out early.
- Your Dashboard lists who missed their last class, so you know whom to check in on.

Scheduling
A timetable that plans itself
Set up each batch once, with its days, time, duration, capacity and online link. Kala64 lays out the next 12 weeks of classes, and keeps a clear record when things change.
- A batch can meet on any days of the week, for example Monday to Friday.
- Reschedule or cancel a single class. The calendar keeps the “was Wed 6:00” note, so there’s no confusion.
- A holiday or closure cancels every class in a date range at once, and fees adjust by your rules.
- Add extra and make-up classes. Change a batch’s timing from a chosen date onward.
- View the next 2 weeks, a week or a month.

Payments
Fees that add up the same way every time
Kala64 works out each invoice from your own fee rules and shows it line by line, so parents can see exactly what they’re paying for. Money goes straight to your UPI account. Kala64 charges ₹0 on it.
- Bill in arrears or in advance, with pro-rata credit for classes you cancel.
- No fee for leave months or the month a student leaves, if that’s your rule. Fee changes keep their history.
- Send a WhatsApp reminder from your own phone with a UPI link to your account.
- Record UPI, cash, bank and part payments. Parents tap “I’ve paid” and you confirm.
- A 6-month overview shows what’s paid, what’s due, and your collection rate.

Every activity has a ladder of steps, such as varisai to krithis in Carnatic, or adavus to margam in Bharatanatyam. Tap the next step when a child gets there, add a note and a recording, and send it.
